The tournament will be held again on July 24, 2025 at Penn National. Please join us in supporting this cause by participating in our fall fundraiser of Cookie Dough and Coffee from the Butcher Shoppe. There is cookie dough available for SEVEN different cookies (Sugar, Oatmeal Raisin, Snickerdoodle, Chocomeal, Peanut Butter, Molasses, and Chocolate Chip). There are TEN varieties of coffee available (whole bean and ground regular and decaf from East Africa, whole bean and ground regular from Central America, Colombian regular whole bean and ground, and French Vanilla regular and decaf ground). The cost of the cookie dough is $17 a bucket and the coffee is $13 for a 12 oz. bag. Checks are to be made payable to "Tee Up Fore the Cure," and payment is due by November 20. Drop boxes are available at Jessie Gribble's (6007 Oakmont Circle) and Kim Engman's (7149 Seminole Way). Pick-up will be on December 6 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Penn National Golf Clubhouse. Please contact one of us to order your cookie dough and coffee in time for your holiday guests. All proceeds will go toward the golf tournament to benefit the American Cancer Society. Thank you! Following the annual Veterans Day Parade, the public is invited to view a FREE screening of the international documentary, "Fedelta," a film that details the journey and experiences of Italian POWs who were captured in Northern Africa and sent to camp in the United States at Letterkenny Army Depot during WWII. The film includes documents and footage shared by the families and associates of the Italian Service Units. It was filmed in both the US and Italy. Follow their journey from war to peace, and the lasting legacy of the Letterkenny Chapel that they built during their time there. The documentary complements the exhibit at the Visitors Center. Penn National will visit the World War II American Experience Museum in Gettysburg on Thursday, December 5, 2024. The cost for the 10:00 AM tour of the museum is $13.00 per person and lunch is $16.00 per person (both paid in advance).
